Pride
Pride is the Bates Dance Studios performance group. Pride was formed in 1998 by Heidi (Hilton) and Kerri (Galas) in order to give some of their more advanced students more opportunities to perform. Members of Pride must audition for the group and attend extra practice sessions each week.
Pride performs at Kansas State University basketball games, Manhattan High School basketball games, pep rallies, and various other community events in Manhattan and the surrounding area.
Pride also dances in area competitions and received a Gold Medal at the International Dance Challenge '98-'99 national talent competition.
