Bates Dance Studios (BDS) strives to provide the opportunity and environment for our students to learn, develop and perform relevant dance skills and techniques.
We offer a challenging dance program for all skill levels and promote the education of the proper dance knowledge base. At BDS, dance encompasses art, science and recreation.

About Us
Our Manhattan studio is our flagship and central office for our four (4) locations throughout the state of Kansas.
We are visible throughout Manhattan and the surrounding area. We often hold performances in locations such as Manhattan Town Center. Our performing team, Pride, travels across the country to showcase our studio. We also are a member of the Manhattan Arts Center community program.
We have a series of recitals every spring and have recently held them at McCain Auditorium on the campus of Kansas State University.
