Maddy began her dance training at MGM Studio of the Dance in Wichita, Kansas at the age of three. She was instructed in the styles of jazz, ballet, pointe, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, music theater, and tumbling. She was part of a competitive team for ten years where she attended diverse conventions and received instruction from well-known choreographers. She was a member of her high school dance team for four years and was first inspired to choreograph. Maddy joined Flare Dance Team in Lawrence for the 2008-2009 season and competed at NDA Nationals in Texas. She was also a member of the “Wrecking Crew”- a performing hip-hop crew from the Lawrence/Topeka area that made their debut at The Pulse Tour Showcase in 2009.

Maddy was a member of the National Dance Alliance Staff, which allowed her to travel and teach dance camps to high school dance teams in Texas, New York, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. She has experience teaching many different styles to a wide range of age groups. Her passion is choreographing and sharing her love of dance with others.
